Keeping.Company is a trading name of Hati & Co. Ltd (Company No. 17255557). We provide companionship and gentle practical support for older adults in Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Lowestoft and nearby villages. This page explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect, and why
The free family checklist. When you request our checklist we ask for your first name and email address. We use these to make the checklist available to you and, if you have agreed, to send you an occasional gentle note from Harriet. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can stop them at any time.
Enquiries and bookings. When you request a free conversation we ask for your name, phone number, email address, your town or area, and anything you would like us to know. We use these solely to respond to you and to arrange visits.
Calls and messages. If you call, text or WhatsApp us, we keep your contact details and messages so we can reply and remember your situation.
The services that help us run the site
- Web3Forms passes your form submissions to our email inbox. It does not use your details for anything else.
- Netlify hosts this website.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel helps us understand whether our advertising works. It uses cookies and may share visit data with Meta. You can limit ad tracking in your browser settings and through Meta's ad preferences.
- WhatsApp handles messages you choose to send us there, under its own privacy policy.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never share it with third parties for their marketing. We collect only what we need to help you and your family.
How long we keep things
We keep enquiry and client details for as long as we are helping you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to how we use it. Just call or message Harriet on 07876 753211. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
